EXTENSIVE nickel sulphide has been found at Denny Bore, near Laverton.
Poseidon Nickel Limited confirmed the find following recent drillings 12km south of the Mt Windarra nickel mine, north-west of Laverton
The company has completed an additional three diamond drill holes at the Denny Bore project and a fourth hole is underway.
This drilling continues to track the nickel zones at just over 500 metres, some 280 metres vertically closer to the surface than in the original discovery hole.
So far the drilling has defined nickel mineralisation within a lava channel at least 150 metres wide over a strike length of some 480 metres.
Additional intercepts will be completed to find out whether it may lead to the definition of a resource.
